One of Santa’s reindeer decided to take a walk down a busy highway in Norton, OH. Callers told police dispatchers the reindeer had rolled off the back of a livestock truck when the truck hit a bump, causing the trailer’s doors to open just long enough for the animal to fall out.
Police dispatchers responded to numerous calls from surprised drivers who spotted the reindeer walking down the highway Sunday morning. She didn’t appear to be limping or too badly injured according to the calls received from those passing by. The first officer to arrive on the scene wrote in his report that the Reindeer appeared to know where she was going.
The reindeer sustained a broken antler and road rash but seemed to be unaffected by the injuries but has been reunited with the company that owns her.
