Dog Found Wandering Streets Scared and Stressed During London Riot

Blaze the Dog found during the Riots in London

In another real men are kind to dogs a young Staffordshire Terrier was found wandering the streets during the violence in London was saved by a riot police officer. The Staffordshire bull terrier was found by the policeman in east London after his night shift in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The police officer exhausted after his shift trying to keeps things from getting worse took the time to take the dog somewhere where it could be looked after and cared for until its owners can be found.

He took the animal to the Blue Cross animal charity in Merton, south London, on his way home. Staff could not find any identification or microchip, so have nicknamed the dog Blaze. According to the Blue Cross Blaze is a sweet boy but has been very stressed out since he arrived.  The Blue Cross has contacted the dog warden and it is hoped the dog’s owner will come forward.
