Going Green For the Approaching Spring

Going Green For the Approaching Spring
One of our Blogging friends asked us if we wanted to participate in a St. Patrick’s Day Themed Event. While we personally don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day we do think the color green can be fun and since it is not usually a color you will see a lot of on our Blog unless it is in a picture of the dogs playing in the yard or at the doggy park we decided to play along. The rules were it had to be fashion or style focused while some how incorporating the St. Patrick’s Day Theme. What’s a girl to do? We decided to go window shopping on Etsy again since we had so much fun creating our Valentine’s Inspired Collars and Leashes Treasuries. Yes there was a treasury for collars and one for leashes. If Red and Pink are your colors go check out the post.

Ok back to Going Green For the Approaching Spring and St. Patrick’s Day!

Since we had so much fun with our Red and Pink Collar Collection I decided to put together a Green collar collection.I think I was able to put together something fun that male and female dogs would look good in. Plus Spring is the perfect time to trade out your dog’s old beat up collar for a new one! Collars wear out after a season or two especially if your dog wears a collar 24/7 so instead of waiting for it to get really ratty looking and break check out these fun collars that say Spring is in the air!:

I didn’t want to do leashes again and I really tried to find other dog accessories that were green but I just couldn’t come up with a full treasury that I loved. So I bent the rules a bit and decided to Going Green for Spring Pet Beds! Indiana has been pretty much permanently attached to her beds around the house for the past few weeks so I figured I would check out Etsy to see what it out there and maybe get them a new bed. There are actually two beds in the treasury that could really work as a nice dog bed in my office. I don’t want to give away too many details because I can’t decide which way I want to go. But with Spring approaching I think it is time to update their beds and bring in some bright and cheerful colors into the house.
