Pumpkin Spice Popsicles

Pumpkin Spice Popsicles

Pumpkin Spice Popsicles

It’s that time of year again when the leaves are falling or off the trees completely and the temperature has dropped. When you walk in to the grocery store you walk into a not so subtle cloud of cinnamon and spice. That doesn’t mean that frozen treats are off the table for the next few months. Not at all.

I am not going to lie you can judge all you want I love the smell and taste of Pumpkin Spice. I always have even before Pumpkin Spice Latte became a trendy thing. When someone I know made these incredible looking Pumpkin Spice Popsicles for her family I asked if she would make a second batch and share the recipe. Please note that these can be made to share with your dog but they will be more along the lines of Pumpkin Cinnamon Popsicles not Pumpkin Spice Popsicles because nutmeg is on the no go list for dogs but cinnamon is a crowd favorite.

Ingredients
  • Pumpkin Spice Frozen Yogurt Popsicles
  • Ingredients:
  • - 1 cup Vanilla Yogurt (I used Dannon)
  • - 1 cup 100% Pure Pumpkin (I used Libby's)
  • - 1 tbs honey
  • - ½ tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice ( 'cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice') If you are going to want to share these with your dog as many of our readers will be tempted to do you will need to forgo the Pumpkin Pie Spice and opt for cinnamon only. You could also make your own mix of cinnamon and ginger instead.
Instructions
  1. Instructions:
  2. - In a mixing bowl combine vanilla yogurt, prepared pumpkin, honey and pumpkin pie spice
  3. - Stir until all ingredients are incorporated.
  4. - Pour your mixture into a popsicle mold and add popsicle sticks.
  5. - Tap your popsicle mold firmly on your kitchen counter a few times. This will help remove the air bubbles.
