Dr. Seuss Game – Dr. Seuss Truffula Berry Toss Game
Supplies needed:
Construction paper
Craft pom poms
Small paper plate
Craft glue
Scissors
We were able to find all of these craft supplies at our local dollar store. For just a few dollars, this is a game that is just as frugal as it is fun!
Directions:
1. Begin by placing a small paper plate face down on a table. This will serve as the base of your hat.
2. Make a tube out of white paper. Roll it into a tube and seal the ends together with craft glue. Add some craft glue to the bottom of the tube and press it to the plate so it starts to resemble a hat.
3. Cut several red strips of paper, about 1-2 inches in width. These will serve as the stripes on your hat. Wrap the strips around the paper tube and glue them into place. Your hat is now formed.
4. Lay the hat at a designated spot in the room. Take a handful of Truffula Berries (your craft pom poms) and try tossing them so they land in the top of the hat. Each player gets one point for each Truffula berry they can get to land in the hat. Whoever can get the most berries in wins!
Kids will love trying their hands at tossing Truffula berries into the Cat’s hat. Get a great competition going at your next Seuss themed party for all to enjoy!
