Every day of every week of every month throughout the year Eldad Hagar gets calls, emails, Facebook please, and tweets begging im to come and rescue a dog in need. A dog that is living in unsafe conditions, on the street, in warehouse districts, in junkyards. These dos have been abandoned they have been lost are scared, terrified, angry, and have very little human contact. Eldad Hagar from Hope for Paws goes out and does what other cannot, will not, or have been unable to do bring he dog in from the streets get it vet care feed it and find it a loving home.

Eldad is all about the dogs that need his help. He loves them and wants to see them in a better place. With his staff of himself and a volunteer or two to hold the video camera and help ensure the dog doesn’t run off he connects with the dog and gets it to trust him so that he can get a leash over its head and start he process of rehabilitation. Sometimes the task is easy and sometimes it takes hours or even days first scoping out the location, creating a plan, and then putting it into action. Sometimes he has help from friendly organizations that have agreed to use their network in order to find a foster home capable of creating a diamond out of the rough dog that Eldad delivers to their care. And sometimes he has to foster the dogs himself.

Hope for Paws is a 501 C-3 non-profit animal rescue organization (E.I.N: 26-2869386). We rescue dogs and all other animals who are suffering on the streets and in the shelters. Our goal is to educate people on the importance of companion animals in our society.

  2. Hi Y’all!

Oh what a moving video. Rescues need help and not everyone has the patience, training, “know how” or can afford to do what Eldad and Audrey do…saving paws four paws at a time.

Thanks for a great blog hop and for sharing a moving and wonderful video.
