Mieshelle Nagelschneider is The Cat Whisperer with a true gift for all cats and the people who love/serve them. If you live with felines or love someone who loves and lives with cats then, this book should bring peace into your world. Nagelschneider shows readers with her C.A.T. plan how to change your cats’ behaviors and still keep your sanity. This is not an overnight sort of fix it book. Nagelschneider recommends that you need at least sixty and more like ninety days to really change the problems. If you stick to it better than most people do their New Year’s Resolutions then, change will come and your life with your cat or cats will be better. She addresses in the book common concerns such as feline aggression, elimination problems, urine marking, excessive meowing, other destructive behaviors and compulsive kitties. The appendix of the book is not to be missed with the section on clicker training your cat, the CAT checklist for curing out of the box elimination problems, and links to behavior tools and a website www.catwhispererproducts.com to help the reader stay up to date on product recommendations.
Now, I am not a cat owner but I have friends who share their lives with some pretty snazzy felines and I think they would appreciate some of Nagelschneiders’s book. I have one friend who is already going to be getting a copy of the Cat Whisperer as a gift. You see, my friend lives with three soon to be four felines and her cat tales seriously give me the giggles. I can only imagine coming home and only being able to find one cat in the house only to discover that the queen cat had locked the other cats inside the bathroom or a child safety locked cabinet holding the cereal boxes in the kitchen. As I am sure you can guess, the cereal boxes met a rather nasty shredded sort of fate. So, if you know someone or are currently having kitty problems yourself, then this is the book for you. There really are no other books dealing with feline behavior in such an insightful, clearly explained manner. Learn to see things in a new way and living with your kitty or kitties will be a joy instead of the war of the roses.
