Cookie Dough For Dogs

Cookie Dough for Dogs

If you love to make cookies but prefer the easy way using pre-made cookie dough you will love these cookies for dogs. They come in boxes of pre-made, pre-cut cookie dough you just need to pop them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes and you have fresh baked cookies for your dogs. I call it cookie dough for dogs even if your dog isn’t supposed to eat the uncooked cookie dough.

This is a great way to get your children involved with helping to feed and keep your dog healthy. You are supposed to make these cookies on a baking sheet but as you can see I made them into cupcakes. The precut dough fits right in and by putting it in the cupcake paper they don’t stick to the pan and they are easily portable and easy to clean up after baking is over. If you wanted to get really creative and make something super special for your dog you could make yogurt icing but really your dogs will love them just the way they are and your kids will love being able to make the dog a special treat!

Cookies for Dogs

We got to try 2 of the flavors both of which were hits with the girls. I think they probably liked the Peanut Butters ones better. Then again with this list of ingredients Peanut Butter, Oats, Evaporated Cane Juice, Palm Oil, Eggs, Water, and Baking Soda who wouldn’t be a fan. I just finished baking the last batch of cookies from our two boxes. These are cranberry oatmeal and they really like them as well. I give the girls about half a cookie at a time unless they are really hungry and then they might get a whole cookie each

Thank you to Freshpet for sending us a sample of these cookies the girls really enjoyed them. I know they are hoping for more cookie dough for dogs in the future which means I am going to have to try and find it sold locally.
