Make New Friend Tuesdays: Roxy the Traveling Dog

Every Tuesday we introduce you to a new blogging friend. We know that Blog Hops can get overwhelming and you don’t really get to know everyone you just want to be able to stop by to say hello to get to say hi to everyone on the list.

We came up with Make a New Friend Tuesdays. This way we can really get to know a bit about our new friends and everyone can drop by to say hello since its one blog once a week. Don’t worry we will still be having Blog Hops this is just a bonus! This is a much more intimate way to get to know your fellow Bloggers and introduce yourself to them. I love getting to actually spend a few minutes looking through their posts to see what their blog is all about and of course getting to see pictures!

I am 47 and I live in Utah. My husband and I are both artists. I wanted to start a blog to help our business, but it’s so hard to just write about your work. And how interesting and entertaining can that be every day. Then I had the idea of blogging about Roxy. She is so much fun, such a personality. She goes everywhere with us, and loves it. So, I decided to combine the two ideas. In January I attended the blogging conference, Alt Summit. What an eye opener that was, I learned a ton. I’m having fun writing the blog.

My favorite animal has to be dogs. They have such personality, if they’re raised well. My favorite activity is camping and hiking, traveling. I have 2 dogs. Roxy is a 6 year old Pomeranian-chihuahua. She’s awesome. She loves to hike, meet new people ,see old friends, anything. My father in law has never liked dogs, he loves Roxy. He will call and ask about her, wants her to come visit. And she loves him in return.

Torrey is a 4 month old miniature australian shepherd. We thought long and hard about getting a puppy. Roxy is so easy, did we want to take on a puppy? I had a standard aussie a few years ago, she was a great dog. So I wanted the smarts of an aussie in a littler package. Torrey has been so much fun. She is very smart, for a pup, and we have enjoyed her.
