Vacuuming Dog Hair Is No Fun

Newly Vacuumed Floor
I love vacuuming said no one ever. You might love the results of a newly vacuumed house until an hour later when the dust bunnies all come out from hiding and start dancing under the fan. I know you are laughing right now because we have all been there. It is like they are throwing a party for themselves that we didn’t vacuum them up and they know we are too tired from lugging around the vacuum now to pull it back out and do anything about them so they have a reprieve until we decide the issue is getting out of control and the process starts all over again.

If you are reading this blog post you likely have dogs or cats and they shed a lot no matter how much you brush them or bathe them or send them to the groomers for a super spa day. Our pets shed. And they shed a lot.

Carpet Hides Dog Hair

There are things you can do to cut down on the pet hair like pulling out the carpet and replacing with something pet hair cannot attach itself to like tile, or wood, or laminate. You can brush your dogs and cats and bathe them every other week which will help. I have been known to consider vacuuming the dog’s themselves on occasion. That might not be a viable option but you could bring out the vacuum on a daily basis but who has time or energy for that after a long day at work? We love our pets and we knew that they shed and make other messes when we got them but we still love them.

Vacuuming Dog Hair Is No Fun

There are days I wish I could afford someone to come in on a daily basis and vacuum and clean up the kitchen but I find myself more stressed out after someone comes in. It is a long story but you probably know it. After paying someone to come and clean you find the dust bunnies pushed into corners, heavy items practically thrown on top of your fancy dishes, a room you thought was being vacuumed and cleaned only to find the same mess that was there before the person came in to clean. It is frustrating and stressful and upsetting. And to top it all off you had to change your dog or cat’s routine and keep them locked up while the cleaning was taking place so now you feel bad on top of everything else.

While a Robot Maid is a thing of the future Neato Robotics has created a robot vacuums homes better than the competition – with smarter technology, more powerful suction, and bigger-is-better features that get the job done the way you would, or even better! But wait what about all the dog hair and dust bunnies? Neato has created what they call the Best Pet Vacuum!

  • Neato Robot Vacuums are recognized for their smart navigation, powerful suction, design features and brushes to clean hard to reach spots; and work particularly well for pet hair and dirt across a variety of floor surfaces. – That means not only will it pick up the pet hair but all of the dirt they track in from outside.
  • Neato Robot Vacuums have been consistently reviewed as “Best For Pets” by Industry experts and publications like Cnet, DailyTekk, and PC Magazine. – Now I really want to put one to the test to see how it stands up to a Cavalier household.
  • Neato Botvision Navigation allows the vacuum to navigate around objects, into tight corners, under beds, across multi-surface areas (carpet to hardwood) with powerful suction and brushes. – That means the dust bunnies cannot hide under your bed or in dark corners!
  • This laser-guided navigation is the same technology used in the Google driverless car. – Which means your Neato Robot Vacuum knows not to fling itself down the stairs!
  • Neato Robot Vacuums are automatic and can be scheduled by time to run daily, have no winding cords, and are bagless. – Sure they will need you to dump them out pretty often in the beginning but image the luxury of having your house vacuumed from top to bottom all day every day and even while you sleep and all you need to do is empty it out.
  • Neato Robot vacuums can pick up dust and dirt particles up to .3 microns- That is really small and getting them out of our home environment means we can breathe easier and if your dogs are small and low to the ground that means they can breathe a whole lot easier too!

  3. The worst part of vacuuming is when the vacuum cleaner is filthy and the filter is clogged and it must be taken apart for a proper cleaning!I stopped by to say THANK YOU for including Amazon Community Animal Rescue, Education & Safety on your blogroll. The charity thrives in Peru, but we simply have no resources in the US and I do as much as I can, but I can’t afford to be a full time volunteer. 🙂 I miss my BlogPaws friends and am doing my best to keep up.
