8 All Natural Cleaning Products Every Pet Owner Should Have as a replacement for chemical cleaners

1. White vinegar.
White vinegar is great for cutting through grime, making windows and glass shine, and eliminating odors. It can be purchased for less than $2 a bottle and wile you wouldn’t want your dog drinking it you can clean the floors with it and know that your dog will be safe if they like the floor to get that crumb that fell from dinner or if they help clean up a sill of something yummy i the kitchen. It is a great cleaner unfortunately I cannot stand the smell of vinegar and therefore don’t use it in my house to clean.

2. Baking soda.
Baking soda eliminates odors by absorbing them. It can also help with scouring through grime. It works great in both kitchen, bathroom, and general cleaners.

3. Washing soda.
Washing soda acts as a natural cleanser. It is great for cutting through dirt. Try it in your kitchen, bath, and laundry products.

4. Essential oils.
Essential oils can be used to add fragrance to your cleaning products. Choose from herbal or citrus varieties. I clean with a mixture of essential oils and water.I use a OnGuard blend from Doterra to clean almost every surface.

5. Citrus oils.
Lemons and oranges are perfect for helping the product cut through grease. The natural oils in citrus fruits are acidic, making them super powerful.I have heard that you can use Citrus Oils in Vinegar to cut the smell of the vinegar and make it an even better cleaning tool. Maybe I buy a bottle of Vinegar this weekend and add the Citrus Oils to it outside and let it sit in a dark room for a few days before using it. I will use Coconut Oils with a few drops of citrus oil to clean wood surfaces.

6. Castille soap.
This product can help give your cleaning products a boost. It works great at cutting grime on bigger projects like floors and walls.

7. Fells Naptha
Available in bar form, the shavings of this soap work wonders on laundry, stains, and really tough messes.

8. Corn Starch
I put corn starch in a shaker container and leave it y the door. It is a great way to clean dirt off of your dog with the need for a bath all the time. It will soak up excess oils as well as the oil your dog’s coat need to stay health so this isn’t something to use every day but it great for in a bind. It also helps get tough caked in dirt out of carpet. I sprinkle it on my stairs and then vacuum it up leaving much cleaner carpet when I am done.

Next time you head to the store, make sure you have these all natural cleaning products on your list. They are perfect for making your own homemade cleaning products with that are effective safe and of course affordable. Even if you switch one of these products for a chemical product you currently use think about how much you will be cutting down on the chemical fumes in your house.
