Several weeks ago I was introduced to a brand new website called 9thandElm.com a site full of fantastic handmade products for animal lovers. I know that isn’t how they promote their site. In fact his is what they have to say about it. 9thandElm.com was founded by Clay and Elly Bethune in the spring of 2013 with a mission to bring it’s members fabulous fashion from the best handmade and independent designers. We realize it is extremely difficult to sort through and discover handmade fashion geared towards the “fashionista”. Search no longer. I just found from the very first time i visited to decide if I thought you all would like to learn about them that they have some really fabulous Handmade Products for Animal Lovers and as they grow and get more exposure I know that they will continue to expand their offerings.

My introduction to their site happened while they were still ironing out some of the kinks in how things work which is the only reason I have bitten my tongue for so long and refrained from sharing them with all of you. I am glad I did wait. Originally they were focused on Jewelry, a little clothing, and some accessories. They now carry products for dogs (and cats as well) which makes me even more excited to share. Once the glitches were ironed out by a very helpful team of customer service people my items arrived quickly and well packaged.

I have always really liked Elephants but have never found a piece of Jewelry that I liked with an Elephant on it. That all changed the second I saw the Elephant Pendant. I thought it was perfect. Now that I have it in my hand I love it even more. So much detail went into creating this great pendant. I am not normally a gold person at all. But the colors of this necklace are perfect and I don’t think it would look half as nice if it were done in silver. There is nothing I would change about this necklace even the long chain is perfect. The pendant is pretty without being overdone. I love that it is geared towards women and not children or teens. The design has a very Indian feel which the attention to detail really brings out. I am so in love with this necklace that I plan on ordering a second as a Holiday gift for someone who I know will love it.

The second item which was really 2 items are these adorable disk rings. I have been searching for years for a special piece of jewelry or two that I could wear when I am not with the dogs that would remind me of them but not make people think I am an even crazier dog lady then they already do. These rings fit that perfectly. 2 small initial rings front and center on my finger. I do have to point out that in the picture it shows a heart ring that seems like it might come with the initial ring but that is not the case. I do wish that the heart come with the ring or there was a link to where you could purchase the heart to go with them because I think that would make these rings beyond perfect. If you have been looking for something special or know someone that has been looking for something special this it is. One for each dog or cat in your life.
