Breaking News: BlogPaws Taps David Frei As Awards Emcee

In a move that will have the entire dog and cat world a-twitter, BlogPaws Social Media Company focused on teaching pet enthusiasts how to use social media effectively, has asked David Frei the voice of Westminster Dog Show and the National Dog Show to be the emcee for their awards ceremony at their annual Social Media Conference May 16 – 18th in Washington, DC. David Frei a long time animal lover is no stranger to social media or animal causes having served on the board of the Morris Animal Foundation as well as the Founder and Chair of Angel on a Leash a charitable activity supporting a therapy dog program at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian. Angel on a Leash has now expanded to several satellite locations around the country helping to promote the use of therapy dogs to visit those who are sick and in the hospital in order to bring some smiles into their lives.

Angel on a Leash is named for David Frei’s own Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Angel a sweet little girl who happens to be a trained therapy dog. Angel On A Leash began as a charitable activity of the Westminster Kennel Club in 2004, creating and administering a therapy dog program at the NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in the city. In 2007, Angel On A Leash became an independent 501(c)(3) charity and continued to expand across the country. Angel on a Leash has a simple goal: to create the best therapy dog programs in health care facilities and other settings across the country. Just as a patient’s experience is enhanced by attention to a facility’s architectural and landscape environment, Angel On A Leash understands that a properly administered and monitored therapy dog program will optimize patient and employee satisfaction.
