Will You Be At BlogPaws?

BlogPaws

It is that time of year again – crunch time for your decision about going to BlogPaws. In case you aren’t really sure about the dates that would be Thursday May 16th – Saturday night May 18th. FOr those who have been putting off the decision until it gets closer guess what it is closer and the time is now to make sure you can be there. I know there are a lot of things that goes into deciding if you can attend BlogPaws things like Can you take the time off work? Do you have money saved up for a plane ticket or gas money? Will your budget allow you to get a hotel room or will you need to share a room?

My answer is that if you are serious about Blogging in the pet space, meeting other bloggers and pet people in social media, working with pet brands, and learning so you can grow your blog BlogPaws is not an option. Its a must attend event. Having gone to each BlogPaws conference since it was created in 2010 I can tell you there is no other conference that comes close to comparing at least in the pet space.

No other conference comes close to the education you will receive, the friends you will make, the learning experiences you will have, and the networking you will accomplish then BlogPaws. You can say but Felissa you work for BlogPaws now, you have to say that. Ok so I do work for them now but for those of you who went to BlogPaws last year you know I was there. I had a full time job that I told either let me go or I quit. Actually I told them I was going from the day I was hired and had it on the calendar all summer that I would be leaving early on Thursday and would not be back until Monday morning. But then things got crazy and they didn’t want me to leave that weekend and I literally told them I leave for the airport Thursday or I pack up my stuff and I am gone anyway. That is how important I think BlogPaws is for me. I know most of my readers Blog for fun rather then as a career but that’s just it with the information you learn at BlogPaws you can make a career out of working in the pet Social Media space. If not a career you can certainly bring in some extra money from the time you already put into your Blog and other Social Media channels. I cannot tell you how many women I know that have a Blog and have been to and regularly go to Blogging conferences whose bosses found out and they were given a promotion and a raise within their company in order to work on their Social Media presence. Think of BlogPaws as a path to career advancement or at least an added skill that your boss might find beneficial to your company. The more useful you are to your current boss or potential future bosses the more secure your career will be in the future.

Still not convinced? Click through to the BlogPaws Conference Registration page to learn more about the speakers and the session schedule (There will be 4 tracks this year for you to chose from – stick with one track or attend any session you are interested in). If you have never been able to make it then this is your year and if you have been in the past you know exactly what it means to attend BlogPaws. Sponsors are practically fighting over ways to interact with attendees right now. When one sponsor hears about the cool program that another sponsor is doing during BlogPaws they want to know how they can do it too. This is truly going to be an event you do not want to miss but to sweeten the deal here is a 20% off code for you to use when purchasing your ticket!!!!
