We here at Two Little Cavaliers feel very strongly that EVERY. SINGLE. DOG OWNER. needs a copy of If I Should Die Before My Dog and SHOULD fill it out so that if something happens to you and you can no longer care for your dog or dogs people in your family know what you decided should be done. PLUS this book will help someone whether a close family member that already knows your dog (but doesn’t know all their little quirks) or a complete stranger that is fostering your dog until you get better or a new home is found can help your dog feel more comfortable using the instructions you left for your dog(s) care. Over the last 20 years dogs have become more and more an integral part of our families. Their quality of life and the care we give them is the best that money can buy but we as a society fall so very far short when it comes to what happens to our pets after we become sick or pass away. They are forgotten, last requests are overlooked or completely ignored, and they get turned over to a shelter which is certainly not what most people want. Yet they are there at 10, 12, 15 years old having been so very loved their entire lives and forgotten when it matters most. This book helps to make sure you leave very detailed instructions on what is to happen to your dog(s) and in my opinion it is a book ALL dog owners should have.
