Dora’s Garden Full of Flowers

Dora’s Garden

Dora the Explorer

Dora the Explorer is my parent’s cat. They sort of inherited her after she had made her rounds getting to know all of the people who live in my parent’s community. She is now an indoor outdoor cat. When she is outside and not off on an adventure she is watching over her garden. Since she is so protective of her garden she gets very upset when Davinia and Indiana go for a walk out there when we go to visit. Dora thinks she is queen of the garden and protects it for her daddy. I thought it would be fun to do a regular post called Dora’s Garden. We hope you enjoy the pictures of the flowers that are growing in Dora’s Garden.

Pink Flowers in a tall bush

Dora makes sure to guard the entire property. She does spend a lot of time in the back where the fruit and vegetable garden is but she makes sure to keep the unwanted animals away from the entire property so her flowers can grow.

purple flowers in the grass

I have no idea what these are but they must like the soil in Georgia because they are also growing in our complex. Davinia and Indiana think that they smell pretty and taste nice. :/

A single white rose bud

The people that owned my parents house before them had planted a rose garden. As of the last time were were up to visit this was the only rose there was.

Pink Flower

This is a pretty pink flower growing right next to some squash.

magnolia seed pod

My parents have a magnolia tree in their back yard. It is going into seed and this is the pod. Dora loves to take cat naps on some rocks under the tree.

Pink Flower

There are lots of pink flowers in Dora’s Garden.
