Dog Used as Getaway Driver By Thief

Sometimes thieves aren’t the smartest people in the world like when they choose to hold up a 99 Cent Store thinking they are going to come out with large amounts of money. Couple that with the fact that this particular thief used his parents dog as the getaway driver and look out was just asking to be caught. I guess a loud bark would have alerted the thief to people coming but I am not sure hwo the dog was supposed to drive the car away if people were in pursuit.
Dennis Kharitonov told his mother that he was going to go and take the family’s Pit Bull for a walk and two hours later when his mother still had not heard from him or see then dog she began to get worried. The younger Kharitonov not only used the dog as his look out and getaway driver but the car which he crashed into another vehicle was stolen. He abandoned the vehicle and left the dog behind after the crash. Freddy Boy the Pit Bull was returned home to his owners and the younger Kharitonov arrested and charged with Grand Larceny.

Dumb criminals can be very very funny
The dog is obviously the brains of this crime ring,,,,so it would be best for the police to keep him under surveillance for the time being,,,while he plans his next caper. I imagine he’s on the look-out for another idiot to carry out his nefarious plans,,,and it’s only a matter of time before he finds one.
Wow! I don’t even know what to say, LOL! Lookout, perhaps a plausable job for Freddy Boy. But getaway driver? I think not!! Poor dog… living with such a dumb human. That’s probably why he looks all bored in that picture above…
Dogs don’t have opposable thumbs! How would he have turned the wheel or signaled (or shifted)? This is one of the craziest stories I’ve ever heard!
Stupid people! And he left the dog in the crashed car? Now that makes me mad! I’m glad they got him home!
I’m so glad Freddy Boy is okay. Usually I’m glad most criminals are stupid, but I am not very happy about him leaving poor Freddy in the car like that. Sad to think that Freddy would probably have done anything for him yet he didn’t even think about the dog twice other than to use him. Very sad.
