Rabbit Herds Sheep After Watching Family Dogs Do the Job

Champis the bunny rabbit knows how to herd the family’s flock of sheep after watching the dogs do the job. Dan Westman, a sheepdog breeder who shot and posted the video of his friends’ remarkable rabbit, said he was in awe when he first witnessed the phenomenon, noting Champis does the job even better than most dogs would. Westman, who’s known both Champis and it’s owners for years, said the beige little mix-breed rabbit has never been trained for the job but seemed to have learned what to do from watching the dogs starting at a very young age.

My, oh my! I never thought I’d see this! We used to raise Border Collies and train them for sheep herding – but I’ve never seen a rabbit do such a thing. I truly enjoyed the video. Thanks
