Marvin a tattooed tough-guy a young Pit Bull puppy is as frightening as a Giant 250-pound Mastiff. Marvin’s paralyzing and deep rooted fear of Pit Bulls causes him to turn to Sacramento psychologist Robin Zasio, star of the new Animal Planet newest series airing tonight at 10pm – “My Extreme Animal Phobia.”
In the clip below, we learn of Marvin’s horrible fear of Pit bulls that started when he was 5 years old and he he witnessed a neighborhood friend get viciously attacked. He never saw a therapist to help him work through his issues and they just kept building and building. Now 40 years later with two daughters of his own he can’t go the the park or help walk the family’s two small dogs because his fear is so paralyzing. He feels like a failure to his children and wants to make a change so his fear will no longer be in control.
When Marvin is taken to the park and sees a young Pit Bull Puppy being taken for a walk he turns around and begins to walk away in fear. By the time he is within feet of the puppy he is literally bawling and shaking.
“My Extreme Animal Phobia” premieres Friday, Oct. 21 at 10 p.m. on Animal Planet.

Laura – If you really have such a huge fear of cockroaches the best thing you can do is seek out professional help. There is probably a counselor at your school you can talk to that can help you themselves or sen you to someone who can help.
