Cavalier Stolen From Family Business Returned Safely

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Alfie was taken by a pair of thieves from his families business. Despite the efforts the Parsons to find find their puppy it was only after their story hit the headlines that Alfie’s new owners got in touch. The puppy was returned by a couple who bought him just hours after he was snatched from outside the family business in West Bromwich. The couple who bought the puppy said that they were walking their own dog when a man approached them and asked if they wanted to buy another dog. They handed over the £150 asking price for the little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, after being told that he was the last of a large litter and the thieves just wanted to find him a home.

After seeing press coverage about Alfie’s disappearance, the couple contacted the Parsons family to tell them that they had Alfie and what had happened. The two families met up and he was quickly reunited with his rightful owners, who said that he is slowly getting over the ordeal. Though the family is over joyed to have their dog back, they hope that their ordeal will act as a warning to others to be vigilant when letting their own pets walk about freely even if they are inside the family business or in their own yard. It took no time for the opportunistic thieves to snatch up the little puppy and take off on the motorcycle.
