The GREENIES® team is focusing on revitalizing the Wag & Walk 4 Life TM program, a program designed to get pet owners and pets active on a regular basis. So, they are using summertime and our July 4th as a good way to remind pet owners about the importance of being active and staying fit for both dog and owner. The challenge is for pet owners to visit www.facebook.com/greenies and click on the wags for life tab on the left hand side of the page in order to pledge to walk with their pet a certain distance each week.
For every new pledge through Wag & Walk 4 Life TM between Monday, June 27 and Monday, July 11, The GREENIES® Brand will donate $5 to Englewood, CO-based Freedom Service Dogs to support the training and placement of a service dog with a disabled veteran who needs a mobility partner. So not only are you making a pledge that you and your pet become more fit but you are helping someone who needs help getting around. You don’t even have to pledge some unattainable number. Just something a little more then what you already do.
