Make a New Friend Tuesdays: i wuv wes

Every Tuesday we introduce you to a new blogging friend. We know that Blog Hops can get overwhelming and you don’t really get to know everyone you just want to be able to stop by to say hello to get to say hi to everyone on the list.

We came up with Make a New Friend Tuesdays. This way we can really get to know a bit about our new friends and everyone can drop by to say hello since its one blog once a week. Don’t worry we will still be having Blog Hops this is just a bonus! This is a much more intimate way to get to know your fellow Bloggers and introduce yourself to them. I love getting to actually spend a few minutes looking through their posts to see what their blog is all about and of course getting to see pictures!

If you would like your blog to be featured please fill out this form and we will feature your blog.

Hi! I’m… older than I look, and am currently in Ann Arbor, Michigan, preparing to go to graduate school in the fall (social work). My love for animals is nondiscriminatory; as long as they have fur (or at one time had fur), I’m crazy for them and want to bury my head in them with kisses. If I could have three wishes, I’d make fried chicken fat-free, and my favorite color is black because it gets along with all the other colors.

No comments on the cat bed, please.
Alfalfa = grey tabby
Duncan = orange longhair

I have two cats, Alfalfa and Duncan, and two beagles, Wesley and Wilma. Alfalfa and Duncan were kitties from different shelters, and now they’re 11 years old but don’t look a day over 5. They’re best buds, and they sleep together in every warm spot in the house.

good boy, Wes.
Wesley

Wesley and I found each other at McDonald’s; he was licking up mud puddles, and I was downing a McMuffin. I was going through a divorce (my husband left me a few days after Wesley found me), and Wesley looked past my sadness just like I looked past his worms, fleas and penchant for eating gum, as he’d been living on the streets. After Wesley, I found a great guy who fell in love with me– and more importantly, Wesley.

Okay, maybe I do. How does it taste?
Wesley and Wilma

We love Wes so much, in fact, that we had to get another beagle this last year– Wilma. Wilma’s mom was rescued from the streets when they discovered she was pregnant. So now our family is complete! 🙂

Make sure to stop by to say hello!
